From new theme park attractions to Easter Egg hunts and dazzling floral displays, Staffordshire is packed with cracking egg-xperiences this Easter!
Here are some great idea’s to keep the little one’s (and the big ones!) occupied during this school holiday.
Tackle the hilariously terrifying Dungeon, experience the Teletubbies live shows, and ride the new Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop Ride at Alton Towers Resort, or join The White Rabbit, Alice, and the Queen of Hearts for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, courtesy of Churnet Valley Railway in Froghall, Staffordshire Moorlands (selected dates from 15th-22nd April).
Earn sugary treats on the Polperro Easter Egg Hunt at Drayton Manor Park’s Egg-cellent Easter (13th-28th April), before trying the family rides at Thomas Land, or head for the National Forest Adventure Farm, near Burton, where the Easter Bunny will be handing out free chocolate at their Easter Eggstravaganza (13th-28th April).
There’s fun with the Easter Bunny at Waterworld in Stoke-on-Trent too, where the Bunny Burrow Experience (April 6th-28th) takes you into an enchanted underground world for a tasty Bunny Afternoon Tea.
Venture outdoors and help Stick Man find his family tree on the new trail, open daily, at the National Memorial Arboretum, near Lichfield, immerse yourself in the stunning Spring Bulb Festival at The Trentham Estate, Stoke-on-Trent (every day until May 29th), and admire classic cars in beautiful South Staffordshire parkland at Weston Park’s Easter Motor Show (April 21st-22nd).
Enjoy the St George’s Day celebrations at Tamworth Castle on April 20th, with jousting, archery and a medieval encampment, while there are more spiritual experiences on offer at Lichfield Cathedral, where the seasonal events include a vigil and Eucharist on Easter Sunday (April 21st).
