A council work programme has been hailed as a success in helping people to get back into work

-

A council work programme has been hailed as a success in helping people to get back into work.
Hundreds of people are getting their foot on the career ladder thanks to The Open Door programme, which is delivered by Staffordshire County Council, and helps people by offering them a 12-week work experience placement within council departments and also with external organisations and partners.
It is available to anyone over 18, but focuses on helping people who face difficulties and barriers in finding work.

For further information on Open Door Staffordshire contact Vicky Perry on 01785 854486 or email Vicky.Perry@staffordshire.gov.uk.
