FORMAT
You can view our station format by visiting the About us and Programmes pages from our homepage. All our programmes are produced locally at our studios in Leek — we do not take any "networked" programming. Our broadcasting is predominantly live with automated shows from 9pm (10pm on Sat) until 7am.

Focusing on the interests and issues affecting the Staffordshire Moorlands - from travel news to what’s on, local anecdotes to public service information and regularly updated weather forecasts. Such speech content is presented in a comprehensive concise manner.
NEWS INFORMATION
Moorlands Radio provides news bulletins (supplied by IRN) containing national and international news, with local weather updates, every hour from 7am to 9pm. Local news bulletins are provided six times a day in peak times, at 07.30, 08.30, 09.30, 16.30, 17.30 and 18.30. Outside news bulletins, Moorlands Radio prides itself on providing significant local speech content — including interviews, features and discussions about local issues.
