AUTOMATION AND LOCAL PROGRAMMING
The vast majority of our programmes are produced and presented locally from our studios in Leek. Our broadcasting is predominantly live with an automated music playout broadcast overnight from 12 midnight until 7am the next morning.
Specialist programming broadcast between 10pm and 12am is pre-recorded “as live” content. It may occasionally be necessary to replace some other off-peak shows with recorded content, but this will be made clear on air. Our live and local hours exceed those required by our Key Commitments.
SPECIALIST PROGRAMMING
Moorlands Radio offers specialist programming covering a variety of musical genres from 7pm until 12am each weeknight. More information can be found from our schedule pages.
