Crime update from Staffordshire Police

Residents in the Moorlands are being urged to be extra vigilant after a burglary at a village property.
At approximately 2am on Wednesday 27th February unknown offender(s) gained entry to a property in Cross Street, Kingsley and stole a handbag.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “The handbag was found discarded in nearby Johnson Crescent. A quantity of cash had been stolen from inside.”
Police are also appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Biddulph.
Between 7pm on March 12 and 9am on March 13, a vehicle has been keyed on the nearside whilst parked on Albert Street in Biddulph.
Anyone who may have any information about either of these incidents is urged to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
