Detectives investigating a robbery at a property in Stoke-on-Trent are appealing for help to catch the offender

Detectives investigating a robbery at a property in Stoke-on-Trent on Monday, May 13 are appealing for help to catch the offender.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “At around 1.30pm on May 13, a man approached an elderly home owner at a property in Trent Vale and knocked him to the ground. He stole the man’s watch, his mobile phone, bank cards and the keys to a white Range Rover car in which he then drove off. Fortunately, the householder was not seriously injured but was very shaken by the attack.”

The force spokesman further explained that the offender’s face was covered by a scarf and hat and is described as being black, in his thirties and wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 366 of May 13.
