Well, here we are back once more. Skiing and relaxing in the snow is now but a distant memory. Producer Steve painted his bathroom and listened to a hundred CDs in the meantime! Didn’t we come back with everything firing though, new albums from Jim Moray, Martyn Bennett, the new Albion Band, Breabach, lots from Producer Steve’s homework selection, Pearl Handled Revolver  and The Proposition being particularly fine and a holiday find, Gooral with remixed dub step Polish folk tunes! All this and our gig of the week local wonders Radio Mary at The Plough, Stafford Street, Uttoxeter, February 25th, about 8pm we’d think. Check their website for more.<br />

<p>It would be the first hike imposed by the district council for four years.</p>
<p>Councillors have agreed to no increase this year.</p>
<p>Finance chiefs are advising a 1.9 per cent increase for 2013-2014, and 2014-2015.</p>
<p>The council is faced with having to make savings of £3.6 million over the next four years.</p>
<p>It proposed increase is to help counter a cut in Government funding.</p>
