Libraries across the Moorlands are hosting a number of activities over the next few weeks.
Biddulph Library will be welcoming visitors to their book launch for the reprint of “Goowin dine th’ Grayn – a history of Biddulph High Street” on Saturday 20th April between 10am and 2pm.
Compiled by members of the Biddulph and District Genealogy & Historical Society, the book details how the town centre has changed and chronicles the history of almost every building along the High Street.
Meanwhile, a Creative Writing Group will be meeting at Blythe Bridge Library on Monday 29th April between 5.30pm and 7pm; while Leek library will be hosting fun-filled children’s stories and craft sessions on Wednesday 17th April and Wednesday 24th April, from 10.30am until midday both days.
