Central defender Scott Lycett has become the third Leek Town FC player to exit Harrison Road this closed season.
Lycett has signed for Merseyside club Marine who will play in the North West Division following the new Evo-Stik reshuffle at the end of last season.
Lycett who failed to hold down a regular starting place in the first eleven last season, joins fellow central defender Jack Sanders in leaving the Blues citing the extra travelling as the main reason for their departure.
Forward Jordan Johnson has also left the Moorlands club.
Johnson who was a first team regular last term has also confirmed that the extra travelling required now that Leek Town have been placed in the Northern Premier South East Division as the main reason behind his decision to leave.
