Moorlands Police have been taking action on vehicles which have been driven illegally.

Staffordshire Police has confirmed that they stopped a car in Biddulph on May 11 which had an expired MOT.

A spokesman for the force said: “The driver was reported for having no valid MOT since March and we are urging other drivers to check their documents as it is their responsibility to keep their cars in check.”

On May 12, Moorlands Police dealt with another driver who had an accident by going into a hedge. Officers discovered that the driver had no insurance, tax, MOT or licence and therefore they seized the car.

Meanwhile, on May 15, Police seized another vehicle in Biddulph which was being driven with no insurance.
