Operation disruption is a county wide initiative by Staffordshire Police tackling serious and violent crime
The Moorlands has been the target of the operation for today (Friday 12th) with a warrant executed in Leek this Morning.
Police gained access to an address in Leek this morning just after 8am and arrested a 17 year old male on crimes relating to drugs.
During the operation this morning police have seized a number of items from the property where the arrest has been made including. Drugs, money and a bladed weapon.
Also as part of the operation focusing on the Moorlands today the crime prevention team are in leek town centre offering advice and support in preventing crime
Staffordshire Police’s operation is continuing tonight in the area with a “ring of steel” in place also today
