Parents and teachers are being invited to attend an annual conference focusing on special educational needs.
The 2019 SEN Jigsaw Conference, which is in it’s fourth year, is being organised by Moorlands business woman Georgina Smith – who has run her dyslexia assessment and tuition service in Leek for more than 10 years.
Georgina has recently written her own Dyslexia programme, CodeBreakers, which has been welcomed by a number of schools in Staffordshire, who are currently using it and gaining great results for their students.
The 2019 SEN Jigsaw Conference will be held on Sunday, June 8 between 9am and 4pm at The Bridge Centre in Birches Head Road in Stoke-on-Trent.
There will be a host of workshops and key speakers, from professionals in their field, to help both parents and professionals take away practical information and advice about specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, language development, dyscalculia for those with maths difficulty, autism, sensory processing, dyspraxia, auditory processing and pathological demand avoidance.
