Police are appealing for information following reports of two males in the Moorlands using a catapult to fire metal ball bearings.
The incidents have been happening in the area of Biddulph Valley Way.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “Residents are concerned that shots have been fired from the catapult at nearby properties and pigeons.”
The two males have been described as around 14 to 16 years old and have been reported as being on the old railway lines for the past few weekends.
Anyone with any information is being urged to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 415 of April 7
