Police are appealing for witnesses after two burglaries in the Moorlands.

Overnight on January 31 and February 1, unknown persons have accessed the rear garden to a property on Osbourne Street in Leek

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “A door to the cat flap had been removed, and tools from the shed were discovered in the garden.”

Police are also appealing for information after a burglary was attempted at the former youth centre in Church Road, Biddulph.

Unknown offenders have tried breaking in via the front door to the building. The incident is believed to have taken place between 3pm on Sunday 3rd February and 9am on Monday 4th February.

Anyone with any information about either of these incidents is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
