Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of incidents in the Moorlands

Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of incidents in the Moorlands.

A burglary took place at a property in Uttoxeter Road in Blythe Bridge between Sunday December 23rd at 4pm and Thursday December 27th at 1.30pm; while on Christmas Day, between the hours of 1.30pm and 6.15pm in the vicinity of Chapel Street in Forsbrook, a car was broken into and Christmas presents were stolen from the vehicle.

Meanwhile between December 26 and December 27, unknown offender(s) have caused damage to a rear patio window at a property on Dimble Lane in Alton; and in a separate incident, there was a theft of an orange Carrera Vengeance bicycle from Mount Road in Leek at around midday on December 28th.

Also on December 28th at around 11.30am, a white transit van with luminous chevrons on the back, was seen acting suspiciously in the Cheddleton area. It has been reported that the occupants of the vehicle have been seen looking into residents driveways.

Anyone with any information about any of these incidents is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
