Police are appealing for witnesses following two incidents

-

Police are appealing for witnesses after a van was broken into in a Moorlands town.

The incident happened overnight between Wednesday April 17th and Thursday April 18th in Royce Avenue in Brown Lees.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police confirmed that a number of tools were taken from the vehicle during the incident.

Police are also appealing for witnesses following a report of a suspicious vehicle in a Moorlands village.

The spokesman said: “We have been made aware of a dark Ford Focus, with the partial registration of MJ63, acting suspiciously in the Brown Edge area.”
They added that “there were two male occupants, one which had a strong Irish accent.”

Anyone with any information about either of these incidents is urged to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
