Police have interviewed a male in the Moorlands after he ran off while he was ‘stopped and searched.’
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “A Biddulph officer, on May 24, interviewed a 19-year-old male under caution for running off from him during a stop and search.”
They added: “Running from officers whilst being detained for stop searches is an arrestable offence.”
Meanwhile, officers were out and about in Blythe Bridge and surrounding areas on the evening of May 24, preventing any anti-social behaviour.
A spokesman for the force said: “Section 35 dispersal orders, giving officers powers to move people on who cause any anti social behaviour, were also in force.”
