Popular children’s television characters will be visiting a heritage railway in the Moorlands this weekend.

Paw Patrol’s Chase and Skye will be at the Churnet Valley Railway over June 22 and June 23.

Visitors to Churnet Valley Railway will get to join in with story time acted out by their heroes, before being able to pose with the pups themselves.

Entry will also include access to the Activity Tent at Froghall Station where youngsters will be able to enjoy a selection of fun-filled activities set up alongside the pups.

Children’s entertainers will be performing numerous tricks including, but not limited to, Circus Skills and Balloon modelling plus colouring, music and games.

Guests are welcome to stay as long as they want this part of the site, with the Signal Tearooms open all day offering a varied menu to suit all tastes, plus the Signals Souvenir Shop has a number of items available to take away a cherished memory of your visit.

Tickets include a full round trip at a pre-set time along the Churnet Valley Railway’s 5.5 mile line from Froghall Station to Leekbrook Junction and return behind one of our heritage locomotives. Guests are reminded to make sure they have their cameras with them, as there will be plenty of opportunities to take lots of pictures throughout the day.

Time slots for entry begin at 10am, with the final entry time being at 3.20pm – the event closes at 5.30pm each day.

Passengers can board at either Cheddleton or Froghall, and pre-booking is highly recommended for this event (there is an online discount for all pre-booked tickets!). Entry to the event will be restricted to ticket holders only throughout the duration of the event.

A Family Ticket online costs £57 for two Adults and two Under-15s, whilst Adults are £17 each, Under 15s are £14 each and Under 2s are £7 each.
