Witness appeal following two seperate incidents in the Moorlands

-

Police are appealing for witnesses after two separate incidents in the Moorlands.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police has confirmed that there has been a report of a suspicious male seen at around 7.30pm on August 17 in the area of Wetherby Close in Cheadle.

It has been reported that he was seen looking into caravans. The force spokesman said: “The description we have been given is that he was Asian and wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing, and that he drove off in a blue Volkswagen.”

In a separate incident in Biddulph, three motorbikes, with the combined value of approximately £6,000, were stolen from the rear garden of a property in Castle View.

This happened between 9pm on August 17 and 5pm on August 18.

Anyone with any information about either of these incidents is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
