Kidsgrove Athletic to start the new season at Chasetown

Kidsgrove Athletic will face Chasetown in the opening game of the new Northern Premier League West season on Tuesday 11^th August.

The Scholars are now managed by former Port Vale and Stoke City defender Carl Dickinson, with the former Hanley Town manager joining the club in the final weeks of the previous season from Leek Town.

That game is subject to Kidsgrove not needing a replay against Abbey Hulton United in the FA Cup, which takes place on the 8^th August. Their first home game sees Kidsgrove entertain Lower Breck at the Fitzjohn Stadium on the 15^th August.

Grove’s Boxing Day fixture is a home tie with Runcorn Linnets, while 2027 starts down the A34 at Congleton Town on the 2^nd January.

Hanley Town visit on the 5^th December, while their trip to Hanley is the fourth league game of the season on the 22^nd August.

They conclude the season with a rather tasty looking derby with Newcastle Town, who visit on the 17^th April.
