Competition Terms And Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions and Rules carefully. If you enter one of our promotions, we will assume that you have read these Terms and Conditions and Rules and that you agree to them.

1. The following Terms and Conditions will be referred to as our General Terms and Conditionsand these will apply to every competition, giveaway or prize draw run by Moorlands Radio C.I.C. We may refer to the Promoteras Moorlands Radio. Each competition, giveaway or prize draw will be referred to as a Promotion.
2. General Terms and Conditions will be applied to all Promotions ran by Moorlands Radio either on air, on our website and/or on our apps.
3. A Promotion may have it’s own Specific Terms and Conditions, these may be in addition to the General Terms and Conditions or in replace of. Each Promotion will specifically state which Terms and Conditions will apply.
4. Each Promotion will have a specific start and end date. This information will be promoted with the Promotion at all times and will also be stated within the Specific Terms and Conditions section on each Promotion page.
5. Unless specifically stated, to enter a Promotion on Moorlands Radio, you must be: (a) 18 years old or over at the time of entry; and (b) a UK resident.
6. Where a Promotion is open to individuals younger than 18 years of age, Moorlands Radio reserves the right to request parental permission for the individual to enter the promotion.
7. Promotions are not open to employees, members, or volunteers of Moorlands Radio or their immediate families. Anyone associated with the prize provider will also be excluded from the Promotion.
8. All Promotions are non-purchase promotions unless otherwise stated. Specific Terms and Conditions will be set out explaining how to enter a promotion where purchase may be required.
9. Only one entry per person is permitted per Promotion unless otherwise stated.
10. Entrants must provide their real Name and contact details to be entered. Failure to provide the correct details may result in the entrant being disqualified. Moorlands Radio reserves the right to disqualify an entrant at our discretion.
11. Each Promotion will have a specific entry requirement. Details of how to enter each Promotion will be outlined in the Specific Terms and Conditions of each Promotion.
12. Where entry requirements are not provided in the Specific Terms and Conditions, entrants may enter a Promotion using one of the following Approved Entry Methods:

– By sending your details and/or any answers together with your Name, Phone Number and Email Address to us via Email at onair@moorlandsradio.co.uk
– By texting us on 07451 289915

Not all of the above methods may be accepted for each Promotion. Accepted methods will be detailed each time a Promotion is given On Air, Online, on Social Media or via our Apps. It is the responsibility of the entrant to make sure that the correct entry method is used.

Moorlands Radio takes no responsibility for any incorrect entries.

13. By entering a Promotion using one of the Approved Entry Methods, this is not proof that we have received your entry.
14. Entries received after the specified Promotion end date and time may not be entered. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that entries are received in enough time to be entered.
15. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
16. Any entries received via an incorrect entry method may not be counted.
17. There will only be one winner for each Promotion unless specified in the Specific Terms and Conditions of the Promotion.
18. The Promotion winner(s) will be selected at random using random generating software by a member of the Moorlands Radio team. This may be carried out live on air, or in advance and after the Promotion has closed.
19. Where an entrant has been disqualified, the Promotion will be drawn again until a new winner(s) is found.
20. The winning decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. By entering a Promotion, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Moorlands Radio may require.
22. The prize(s) will not be transferable to any other person.
23. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
24. Moorlands Radio reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Moorlands Radio may also create rules which will apply to a specific Promotion only. These will be referred to as Specific Terms and Conditions.

If we do this, we will publish the Specific Terms and Conditions on the relevant Promotion page.

25. You can find out who has won any Promotions on Moorlands Radio by sending a stamped addressed envelope, marked with the name of the Promotion, to Moorlands Radio, 3 Stockwell Villas, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 6DN.
26. Calls and Text Messages in to Moorlands Radio are charged at your standard network rate. You should check with the bill payer and your provider before using these methods for any additional charges that may occur.
