Newcastle Town will host new boys 1874 Northwich in their opening game of the Northern Premier League West season on Tuesday 11th August. 1874 won promotion from the Midlands League Premier Division last season as they defeated rivals Northwich Victoria in the playoff final to end a two-season absence from the Northern Premier League.
