Would you believe it? The Archers is now 75 years old. And to celebrate members of the cast are on tour with a celebration of all things Ambridge.
I was able to catch up with Susie Riddell who has played two characters over the past 37 years and is currently Tracy Horrobin.
We talked about why the famous rural programme is still relevant to the modern age, how the programme is produced but also about Susie’s life outside the Black Bull.
She has been involved in the publication of around a hundred audio books and – whisper it softly – she has roots in Stoke-on-Trent and just loves the Potteries accent!
